History
There is no definite record

century, this instrument had begun to be used, that is, during the Sunda
Kingdom.
This instrument is believed to be the caller of
Dewi Sri to provide fertility for agricultural land. Usually, angklung is made
of black bamboo and bamboo ater with various types of sizes that produce
different music.
After that, angklung
developed into several types. One of them is the tone of angklung music by
Daeng Sutigna, a resident of Citangtu, Kuningan who was the first person to
create diatonic angklung music tones. Because Daeng Sutigna also, angklung can

Kuningan Regency now calls itself Angklung Regency and has been established
since 2010.
